It will be a while before that collection arrives in stores, but plenty of Vnecks are out there right now.
This neckline has become new again by climbing a bit higher for both men and women.
"As crew necks began to get boring, the highnecked V took off like wildfire last spring," said , fashion director for Macy's. "It's even stronger now. You'll see Vneck sweaters under cardigans in a twin set, and that is a new look."

"The V looks very fresh," said , cocreator of the "Chic Simple" lifestyle books.
"The trend in general in the workplace for both men and women is a softening of the tailored look; what you wear underneath has gotten a lot sexier, and a Vneck under a suit is a very feminine look."
Men's V's in particular are not as deep as they used to be. A deep V, said Gross, "looks oldfashioned, almost too collegiate, like you need a pipe and slippers to go with it." Try a white Tshirt instead; it's the best way to set off a Vneck sweater.
For evening, the women's V can plunge a bit. Instead of a jewel neck sweater with a pair of silk pants or a taffeta skirt, a look that has become popular for evening, update the outfit with a black Vneck in a textured fabric.
A higher V is more appropriate for daytime, especially when paired with a cardigan.
"Many women own at least one twin set these days," said Gross, "most likely with a scoopneck sweater. Getting a Vneck sweater set is just another excuse to shop, but at least it's something incredibly versatile for your wardrobe."
